In 2007, singer/songwriter Mazgani and his band recorded and produced Mazgani's debut album, Song of the New Heart. The album was recorded in Setúbal, Portugal by Rui Luís and the band. After its release, Mazgani was considered by the French magazine "Les Inrockuptibles" as one of the best 20 new European artists.
